What a beautiful concept: That the wind carries with it the essence of everything that it has passed over. The smell of a restaurant cooking fresh food, the warmth of an arroyo, the ocean’s coolness, a farm’s fertile earth, raindrops, a baby’s smile, a mother’s worry. We are beginning a public art project that we want to share with you.

We invite you to share a prayer, a thought, a want for the world, so that we may hang your flag here at our restaurant and take with us to our events. We are located in a nearly constant Pacific breeze that cools our valley and will blow over your flag and carry its message with it; spreading your well wishes.

Traditional prayer flags come in five colors: Blue represents space, white-water, red-fire, green-air and wind, and yellow-earth. These are the boundless parameters that surround our physical life. Upon a prayer flag is a message or call for the welfare of all beings to work to bring about virtue, goodness, healing, and happiness.
